BREMEN 4401

The ASKANIA wristwatch BREMEN is a tribute to the Junkers W33, named “Bremen”. It was a testimony to the first plane in the world to cross the Atlantic from east to west. Thanks to the aeronautical masterly performance of the crew and the precision of the ASKANIA on-board compass, this flight was able to secure an entry in the history books. A pilot watch with history.

Dial

The dial was designed according to the original compass, which successfully guided the pilots of the Bremen to the American continent. The cream-colored dial tells an adventurous story while featuring a clear and functional design with its legible Arabic numerals.

Case

The case of the BREMEN is made exclusively of stainless steel 316L. The steel, which is also used in aviation and surgery, is distinguished by corrosion-resistance, resilience and extreme hardness. This guarantees lifetime durability. Ultra-hard and scratch-resistant sapphire glass is used to protect the dial.

Strap

Stainless steel and leather – durable and solid. The breathable leather strap excels with its high-quality design, impressive workmanship and unparalleled comfort. The strap uses the classic pin buckle made of high-strength stainless steel.

Askania Kaliber 4062

The movement is based on a completely revised ETA Valjoux 7750 movement, which rests on 25 rubies. This caliber is a mechanical movement with self-winding and chronograph function. The ASKANIA 4062 operates in a balance of 4 Hz (28800 A/h per hour) and is therefore absolutely precise, robust and accurate.
